Images, Audio, and Visual
  • Audioboo - the user records and shares audio. This would be a great tool for instructors or students to present material.
Instructional
  • Quizlet - allows instructors to create games and flashcards which can used embedded in the weekly newsletter
 Social and Collaborative
  • Creately - the user creates T-charts, KWL, Venn diagrams, diagrams, and charts which can be shared and others can collaborate. This tool wold be excellent for a group project.
It is important to remember your audience when you are selecting the way to communicate. For example, it would be most appropriate to create a Flipstack when communicating with parents and school administration to showcase student work and Audioboo when creating a lecture for students.
