Recorded Session

In a synchronous learning environment it is very beneficial to both the instructor and the students to record the learning session. As found on the TOOL website,  With synchronous learning, instructors record sessions for many reasons, such as additional review, to provide access for students unable to attend, and/or document a specific lesson or concept within the instructor’s ePortfolio.

I chose to use Adobe Connect for my recorded session. First, I had to install Adobe Connect on to my computer. These was an easy process and worked the first time. I then plugged in my microphone. Be following the prompts given to me I was able to test my recording. Success! I was then able to record myself speaking my simply clicking the microphone button.
