Tools Within the LMS

 

I really like Schoology as a LMS. Here is a list of tools that I have found within Schoology:

• email
• discussions
• calendar
• dropbox
• quizzes/tests
• gradebook

I found these 2 tool extremely handy!


In an online classroom, the most valuable tools would be:

1. Materials - this is where you find courses and lessons
2. Gradebook - where students can view their grades
3. Calendar - where teachers post due dates to assignments and students can keep track

I did not come across any tools that I thought would not enhance a LMS.
