Quality Feedback
Quality and authentic feedback is very important when teaching an online class. Students don't have daily, face to face interaction with the teacher so any feedback given needs to address strengths and weakness a student may have. Unfortunately, I do not have an example of student work from my own classroom. I have been out of the classroom for a few years being at home with my small children. However, I have found some tips to follow when providing quality and authentic feedback.
Click here for the complete list.
- Feedback should be highlight what the student is doing correctly and incorrectly.
- Don't wait too long to give feedback.
- Take each student into consideration when giving feedback.
- Feedback should reference a specific skill.
- Have a one on one conference.
